Resource Descriptions
Descriptions give general information about a Documaker resource. Use them to help ensure you select the correct resource when inserting it into a Documaker document.
A description you enter for a resource will appear in any element that is based on this resource.
If you are creating a resource, you can enter a description for it.
| Important | If you are creating resources, then be sure to include clear, meaningful information in your resource descriptions to the Studio user. Descriptions on undefined resources appear in the output area during the Documaker document conversion. Avoid cryptic, abbreviated, or partial descriptions. |
Descriptions in Workspace Resources
You cannot edit descriptions of resources in a workspace definition file (WDF). In addition, descriptions of graphic resources in a WDF are the dimensions of the graphic in inches.
